     Joan Douglas married Murdoch Stewart, 2nd Duke Albany, son of Sir Robert Stewart, Duke of Albany, Earl Menteith, Fife, Buchan, Atholl and Margaret Graham, circa 1388; They had 1 son (Robert of Fife) & 1 daughter (Margaret, wife of Sir Walter Buchanan.)5 Joan Douglas died before 17 February 1392.3
