     Karl Amadeus, 6th Duke of Nemours, Duke d'Aumale was born on 12 April 1624.1 He married Elizabeth de Bourbon, daughter of Cesar de Bourbon, Duke de Vendome, Beaufort, Mercoeur, d'Etampes, & Penthièvre and Françoise de Lorraine, on 11 July 1643 at Louvre, Paris, Ile-de-France, France.1 Karl Amadeus, 6th Duke of Nemours, Duke d'Aumale died on 30 July 1652 at age 28; Killed in a duel by his brother-in-law, François de Vendome, Duke of Beaufort.1
