He had married (2) Anne Eton, widow of Richard Gray. By her, Sir William Barantyne had 1 son (Francis) & 1 daughter (Mary, wife of Anthony Huddleston, Esq.)1,3,4,6,8,9 The marriage of Sir William Barantyne, Sheriff of Oxfordshire & Berkshire and Jane Lewknor was annulled on 15 December 1540; Marriage declared invalid because she had taken a vow of perpetual chastity following the death of her prior husband (Sir Arthur Pole).
