He graduated May 23, 1934 from Columbia Union High School in Hunters, Washington. For many years he has participated in and enjoyed yearly reunions. Glenn served in the US Army from March 8, 1943 until his honorable discharge holding the rank of Sergeant Tec 3 on January 25, 1946. During WWII he served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. After the military, Glenn worked for Armour and Company until his retirement on July 1, 1971. He then drove school buses for Central Valley School District until his retirement in 1976. Glenn also was a volunteer at the YMCA for several years assisting with the swimming program for the handicapped. Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife of 41 years, Betty Jean (Johnson) Fisher and his second wife of 24 years, Dronus B. (DuChene) Fisher. Glenn was a friend to all and will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Glenn is survived by his sister, Dorothy; several nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Del, Joseph, Cheri and their families. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. MONROE ST. Graveside Services will be at 2 PM on Monday, January 29, 2007 at Spokane Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Glenn's name to Hospice of Spokane PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210; or to the charity of your choice. after 24 January 2007 at OBIT.1
