Lambert Jochemse Van Valkenburg [5]1,2
M, b. 4 July 1684
Baptism* | 4 July 1684 | Lambert Jochemse Van Valkenburg [5] was baptized on 4 July 1684; Note #2 from Book: Vol. 1, page 19. None of the children of Jochem VV & Eva Vroman were baptised until July 4, 1684 when the first 5 boys were baptised in a multiple cememony. As a result, the order of birth is unknown but they have been recorded herein in the order generally shown in the early books of reference, even though it is probably not the proper order of birth. Though the baptisms are in the Albany church records, they did not necessarily take place there as it was the common practice for clergymen to tour the surrounding countryside baptising children as they went from house to house.2 |
Marriage* | 28 March 1693 | He married Jannetje Frans Clauw, daughter of Frans Pieterse Klauw and Elsje (?), on 28 March 1693 at Albany, NY.1,2 |
