     Alexander III, King of Scotland was born on 4 September 1241 at Roxburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland.3 He Crowned at Scone. on 13 July 1249 at Scone, Gowrie, Scotland.3 He married Margaret Plantagenet, daughter of Henry III, King of England, Lord of Ireland, Duke of Aquitaine and Eleanor of Provence, on 26 December 1251 at York, Yorkshire, England; They had 2 sons (Alexander; & David) & 1 daughter (Margaret, wife of Eric II Magnusson, King of Norway).3 Alexander III, King of Scotland married Jolanda de Dreux, daughter of Robert IV, Count of Dreux, Braine, & Montfort-l'Aumary and Beatrix de Montfort-l'Aumary, on 14 October 1285 at Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland; No issue.3 Alexander III, King of Scotland died on 19 March 1286 at age 44; Thrown from a horse over the cliffs at Kinghorne.3 He was buried on 29 March 1286 at Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.3
