He is age 61 (born in Maine, parents both born in Mass), his wife is age 58 (born in Maine, parents both born in Maine), daughter Flora (Florence), age 27 (born in Maine), son Willis, age 17 (born in Maine).1,4 He married Arana Bearce, daughter of Samuel Bearce and Elizabeth (Betsey) Humphrey, on 29 August 1844 at Bristol, Lincoln, ME; Shown on marriage record as Lorenzo A. Chapin and A. Bearce.1,5 Lorenzo Adams Chapin died on 19 November 1893 at Orrington, Penobscot, ME, at age 74; Age 74 years, 9 months.3
