     Renée de Rohan was born circa 1536 at France.1 She married François de Rohan, Vicomte de Fronsac, Seigneur de Gié & du Verger, Baron du Chateau-du-Loir, de Mortier-Croulle, & de Marigny, son of Charles de Rohan, Seigneur de Gié, Vicomte de Fronsac, Comte d'Orbec & de Guise and Giovanna Sanseverino, before 1559 at France.1,3 Renée de Rohan married René de Laval, Baron de Maillé, Seigneur de Loué, Chatelain de la Rochcorbon, de Bénais, & des les Ecluses, son of Gilles II Laval, Vicomte de Brosse, Seigneur de Loué, de Bénais, de Maillé, de la Haye, de la Rochecorbon, & de la Mothe-Saint-Héray and Louise de Sainte-Maure, circa 1559; They had 1 son (Louis, who died young).4 A contract for the marriage of Renée de Rohan and Jean de Laval, Comte de Maillé, Marquis de Nesle, Comte de Joigny, Vicomte de Brosse, Baron de Bressuire, de la Roche-Chabot, & de la Mothe-Saint-Héray, Seigneur de Loué was signed on 15 October 1563 at France; They had 3 sons (Guy, Marquis de Nesle, Comte de Joigny & de Maillé, Vicomte de Brosse, Baron de Bressuire; Louis, died young; & Charles, died young). Jean de Laval married (2) Françoise de Birague (Birago).4 Renée de Rohan died in September 1573 at France.5
