He Ancestor of the Shaw Stewarts of Ardgowan and Blackhall.² He Of Auchingowan & Ardgowan.² He was born circa 1373 at Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.³ He died on 31 May 1445 at Drumglass, Renfrewshire, Scotland.³

     Robert Douglas was born at of Lochleven, Perthshire, Scotland. He married Elizabeth Boswell, daughter of David Boswell, 4th Laird of Balgregie, 1st Laird of Balmuto and Elizabeth Melville, circa 1445.      Maria van Horne married Sir Alexander Stewart, 12th Earl of Mar & Garioch, Admiral of Scotland, son of Sir Alexander Stewart, Earl of Buchan, Ross, Lord of Badenoch, before 16 December 1410 at Brabant, Belgium; No issue.^1,2,4,3 Maria van Horne and an unknown person were divorced circa 1424.^1,3 She died in 1434.²

     David Boswell, 4th Laird of Balgregie, 1st Laird of Balmuto Berry inserts another David between David and John. But, this is correct as it stands. He married Elizabeth Melville, daughter of Sir John Melville and Marjory Scot, before 24 June 1436.³ David Boswell, 4th Laird of Balgregie, 1st Laird of Balmuto died on 17 June 1490; Died at a very old age.²
