     Violet M. Matheson was born on 23 November 1834 at Ashe, NC; Age 15 in 1850 Census.^1,2 She married George Washington Kite on 11 September 1853 at Johnson, TN.^3,2 Violet M. Matheson died on 9 September 1901 at Johnson, TN, at age 66; Buried at Butler Memorial Cemetery there.²

     Susannah A. Matheson was born circa 1837 at NC; Age 13 in 1850 Census.¹ She married Hiram A. Smithpeter, son of Mary Stonecipher, on 4 November 1854 at Johnson, TN.^2,3 Susannah A. Matheson married William H. H. Kite, son of Isaac Kite and Elizabeth Donathan, in 1862 at TN.²

     Henry Harold Matheson was born on 15 April 1842 at Ashe, NC; Age 9 in 1850 Census.¹ He died on 1 January 1902 at Knox, TN, at age 59.²
