Sir Adam de Clifton According to Cokayne, Vol. III, p. 307, notes, there is another Adam de Clifton between Adam and Constantine. He married Eleanor de Mortimer, daughter of Sir Robert de Mortimer; They had 2 sons (Constantine; & Sir Adam) & 1 daughter (Eleanor, wife of John Mauteby).² Sir Adam de Clifton was born circa 1307 at of Buckenham, Cranwich, Denver, Hilborough, & Topcroft, Norfolk, England; Age 9 in 1316, and still a minor in 1323 & 1327.² He died circa 11 May 1367.²
