Mary de Lusignan Some have said she had a daughter Elizabeth who married (1) William Marshal; (2) David ap Griffith, but Cokayne proves dates are wrong. She was born circa 1242; Age 7 in 1249.⁴ A contract for the marriage of Mary de Lusignan and Sir Robert de Ferrers, 6th Earl Derby was signed on 26 July 1249 at Westminster Abbey, London, Middlesex, England; They had no surviving issue.^2,3,4,5 Mary de Lusignan died between 11 July 1266 and 26 June 1269.⁴
