     Marlyn Ray Lewis was born on 15 May 1945 at Hubbard, Marion, OR.1 He began military service circa 1969 at Drafted into the Army Vietnam War Draft. He ended military service in 1971; End of the 2 yrs because he was drafted. He married Deborah Inez Dorny, daughter of Carl Henry Dorny and Nedra Nelson, on 24 May 1972 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, UT. Marlyn Ray Lewis and Deborah Inez Dorny were divorced in 1979 at Salem, Marion, OR.1 Marlyn Ray Lewis lived on 11 June 1981 at Portland, Multnomah, OR.2 He was employed by Date of Official Retirement. Resigned from position at Oregon Health Division on 31 Jan 2002 and lived on deferred compensation. on 31 January 2002 at Resigned position to live on his deferred comp.2 He was retired on 1 March 2004 at Official Retirement and started collecting PERS., Portland, Multnomah, OR; Resigned from position at Oregon Health Division on 31 Jan 2002 and lived on deferred compensation.2 He Married by Judge Sidney Galt in his chambers: Mary Ellen Klein, Dorothy-Jean Gabriel, and Francis Thomas Schneider witnesses. However, this marriage was annulled by the Oregon State Supreme Court a year later. But, we did it again 11 years later and this one will work, unless the U.S. Supreme Court screws it up. on 29 March 2004 at Portland, Multnomah, OR, USA.3 He married Dennis James Lundahl, son of Burton Donald Lundahl and Erma Jean Bower, on 29 March 2004 at Portland, Multnomah, OR; Married by Judge Sidney Galt in his chambers: Mary Ellen Klein, Dorothy-Jean Gabriel, and Francis Thomas Schneider witnesses. However, this marriage was annulled by the Oregon State Supreme Court a year later. Others there were Paul Kilgore, Rick and Barbara Russell-neighbors, Frank Schneider and Mary E Klein-both good friends and neighbors and finally there was Kathy Papas a good friend and neighbor. We took a limosine from our house in Laurelhurst down to the County Court House and back. on 4 March 2015 at Mulnomah County Court House, Portland, Multnomah, OR, USA.4 He married Dennis James Lundahl, son of Burton Donald Lundahl and Erma Jean Bower, on 4 March 2015 at Multnomah County Court House, Portland, Multnomah, OR; On our 30th anniversary. Presiding was County Court Judge Christopher J. Marshall. Witnesses were Paul Graef and George Needham.1 Marlyn Ray Lewis died on 22 July 2021 at @ Providence Cancer Center, Portland, Multnomah, OR, USA, at age 76; Marlyn passed away at 1:22 PM PDT from an agressive and Advanced Stomach Cancer, which metastisized to his abdomin. He was buried on 6 August 2021 at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah, OR, USA; Marlyn was inturred at 11:15am. Dennis, Paul Graef and George Needham were present for the brief ceremony, thanking us for letting them assist in placing Marlyn in his final resting place. He I am updating Marlyn's database for the last time. I love him so much it hurts. He knows I will help him in this task, but I don't know his geneology to correct any of his mistakes.      William Lewis Entirely possible that he was the son of Richard Lewis and Deborah Smith. However, there is evidence that his brother, George moved to Butler, Johnson Co., TN. That may be even more probable. He was born on 15 January 1799 at Ashe Co.?, NC. He He was bound to Gideon Lewis (relationship unknown) until he was 21 years old. Gideon agreed to give William a year of schooling, a horse, a saddle, and bridle worth $50 and freedom suit when free of the indenture. in May 1806 at Ashe, NC.2 He married Mary (Polly) Goodwin, daughter of Lawson Goodwin and Celia Alice Dugger, on 17 February 1825 at Carter Co., TN. William Lewis died in 1879 at Little Milligan, Carter, TN; Died late in the year.
